These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of the FlyHugz mobile app (the “App”). By downloading or using the App, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the App.
Using the App
FlyHugz helps you plan and remember your trips. We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the App for your own non-commercial purposes, subject to these Terms.
Your account and content
The App creates an account for you so your data can sync and back up, and you may link it to a Sign in with Apple or Google identity. You are responsible for the content you add to the App and for keeping your sign-in credentials secure. You retain ownership of the trip content you create; you grant us the limited rights needed to store, sync, and display that content back to you as part of providing the App.
Subscriptions and billing
FlyHugz offers an optional paid subscription that unlocks additional features. Subscriptions are sold and billed by Apple through your App Store account, not by us. Payment is charged to your Apple Account at confirmation of purchase.
- Subscriptions renew automatically unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
- You can manage or cancel your subscription in Settings → Apple Account → Subscriptions on your device.
- Refunds are handled by Apple in accordance with the App Store terms.
- Deleting your FlyHugz account does not cancel an active App Store subscription — you must cancel it through Apple.
Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- use the App to violate any law or the rights of others;
- upload content that is unlawful, infringing, or that you do not have the right to share;
- attempt to reverse engineer, disrupt, overload, or gain unauthorized access to the App or its systems; or
- use the App to build or train a competing service.
AI features
The App includes AI-assisted features (such as chat and packing suggestions). AI output may be inaccurate or incomplete and is provided for convenience only — it is not professional travel, legal, medical, or financial advice. Use your own judgment before relying on it.
Disclaimer
The App is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that data will never be lost. Keep your own copies of anything important.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, FlyHugz will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, profits, or goodwill, arising out of or related to your use of the App. To the extent liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to the amount you paid for the App in the twelve months before the claim.
Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “Last updated” date above. Your continued use of the App after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which FlyHugz is established, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. [Governing jurisdiction to be finalized before public release.]
